"Duwapan" (දුවපන්) is a mobile game concept for a Communication Design Project aimed to help combat the Drug Menace in the Wanathamulla and Dematagoda communities in Sri Lanka. The multiplayer game targets school children aged 14 and below in the area; identified as the most vulnerable group to the imminent threat.
This collaborative project was curated via thorough primary and secondary research methodologies that helped empathize with the selected local communities and target groups. This is our process!
The prototype for the game aims to be relatable to the children in the community through illustrated depictions of their day-to-day contexts and surroundings.
